Very good recommendation about Linkedin. Good to see this rise in interest, but still I am surprised that not more people join. It is the tool to connect and offers the great opportunity to quickly join togehter to develop new businesses. Large companies have a lot of new products in the R&D pipeline but are not fast enough to bring this to market. I hope they will open up and embrace this new possibilities of Linkedin not only to recruit but to build faster and more successful business teams who bring new products to market.
My recommendation for you is to state your market insight, your technology insight or you operational insight in your profile.
Just a remark: Your insights should not reveal any confidential data. They should be broad. For market insight as an example it would be enough to just state the what market you dealt with (beer market in Germany) etc.
